As Strathisla is situated at the heart of Sri Lanka’s Cultural Triangle, many of the sites can be accessed as day trips including Kandy, Dambulla, Sigiriya and even Polonuwara. Tours to all major cultural sites can be organised on arrival.

Hiking and Cycling
We offer guided hikes to some of the most spectacular mountain scenery in Sri Lanka, where you will encounter local wildlife, remnant cloud forest, beguiling tea plantations and local village life. We also offer walks around the local area, forest and rock temples.

There are a range of interesting walks to do around the local area taking in the surrounding forests, tea plantations and local villages . Of special interest is the Buddhist rock temple and local rock pool which is great for a refreshing dip!
